Global Courses Orientation Fall 2025

16 Eylül 2025

At Abdullah Gül University (AGÜ), in-person orientation meetings were held on September 10, 11, and 12 with the academics who will teach the GLB 101, GLB 2XX, and GLB 300 courses—offering a comprehensive curriculum aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—in the 2025–2026 Fall semester.

The meetings were lead by members of the GLB Coordination Committee: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kevser Kahraman, Dr. Melike Aygün Çakıroğlu, Dr. Çağlar Kurç, Dr. Bora Akince, Dr. Hakan Göver, and Research Assistant Şebnem Soylu. During the orientation, detailed information was provided on topics such as course introductions, course content, and expectations from academics and students. Faculty members who had previously taught these courses also shared their experiences, contributing to the process.

The meetings also addressed areas for improvement in the courses, and potential solutions were discussed. These gatherings, which allowed academics to get to know one another, laid a strong foundation for a more productive semester through collaboration.

At the end of the orientation meetings, best practice recommendations to enhance course quality were recorded.
